It's a great marketplace, don't get me wrong, I love selling and purchasing on it, but it needs much better moderation. Low quality submissions kill discoverability. Selling ebooks that you can get for free from Anna's Archive should get your account banned immediately. There needs to be a very, very long list of banned low quality listings that should get your account banned immediately. There should be no tolerance for it. It's like a cancer. You can't let it spread.

@avarice it's not your fault, if they actually want to make money then they should be up front about what actually sells. Why would anyone list stuff there for sale if there is no history of it selling? It would do everyone better if all the orders were listed.

@sepia Maybe they should impose a listing fee. Like 10 cents to 10 dollar, anything to put up more friction and justify the time it takes to look it over. Monerica can do free listings because they are only a few a day.
It's not clear what the hosting provider did or did not provide to them.

@monerica I like it free tbh. The first time i start my listing on xmrbazaar i was unemployed and have no money. Then everytime i make a sale i always buy for the boost and now i can get enough to donate to get a badge. But yeah that's a sound idea. but rather than 10 cent how about 1 dollar for making an account? then you can list whatever you want but it still create friction so bad actor can't spam new account. It will be a good income for xmrbazaar too
