Hi everyone,

I’ve been learning more about Monero recently and one thing I’ve been thinking about is how easy it is for someone completely new to get started.

There are quite a few concepts to understand at first, especially wallets, addresses, transactions, and network privacy.

What do you think is the biggest hurdle for new users?

Are there any guides, wallet features, or improvements that you think would make the learning process easier?

Interested to hear what more experienced Monero users think.

@james6134k i think if someone want to move to monero biggest issue was big CEX almost had no monero on it, so we almost unknown to people until they found us by any chance

then the swapping, for little amount, we had little choice to choose, while if we had alot of monero. we had alot of choice where to choose the swapper, including the haveno.

back then monero can be reach simpler since alot of CEX had it on their list
now.... its more like "niche" that people come to know monero

Onboarding is by far the issue. Converting USD or other fiat to XMR can't really be done legally, it's not on any CEXs, and Retoswap is not easy to install and use for a non-techie. The only thing that will alleviate these issues is adoption, though.
