Shouting-out open source projects I use

The first one I found is FitoTrack (F-Droid).

It's an offline workout tracker that can integrate with smart tracking devices and can track your movements on a downloaded offline map, I use it for running and it has been excellent for tracking my progress. Start running if you don't already.

The next project is GPU Screen Recorder (Flathub).

This is basically the Linux equivalent of Shadowplay. It does its job extremely well, including handling multiple audio devices and recording in HDR. It also has an overlay mode that looks so slick and provides easy access to the recorder's options. This basically replaced OBS for me for simple recording/replay recording, it's that good.

@H1XMR To add to this, Gadgetbridge is nice too, it works with quite a lot of smart watches.
I intentionally bought a smart watch for myself based on compatibility with it as most first party smart watch apps are quite tracker heavy. It's pretty good at what it does, it even integrates with Openweathermap (Via QuickWeather in my case) to give me weather on my watch.

I also quite like /e/OS as a replacement to googled android that's quite frictionless compared to something like graphene that needs a lot of work for some types of apps.

Speaking of, my shout-out today will go to Organic Maps (F-Droid)|(Flathub).

This is my OpenStreetMaps client of choice on android and PC. Offline, feature rich. I actually found myself using it a lot on a trip in Europe once, there were a few things OSM had that Google didn't ! OSM is actually pretty good sans navigation, unfortunately that aspect is conquered by the likes of Google Maps/Waze.

@H1XMR Makes sense, maybe I should ask them if they'd take a Monero donation, same for /e/OS which only takes BTC/BCH at the moment (but that's at least easier to convert to from Monero)
