I'm not that familiar with the "ladder" , is it like a ranking thing? Are there wipes that cause everything to start again.

yup, ladder is a ranking thing, check the screenshots from the post above yours :P
is reset once every 3-4 months or so
the date is usually announced 1-2 weeks beforehand so that's when people take their week off their irl job to play the ladder cause, even on day 1 ladder reset, some people are making more than at their actual job lol

Have you ever tried botting yourself, if you did, how did it go ? :)

you have to literally being able to play as consistently as an actual bot for a whole week (or more depending on skill level) to top the leaderboard thing

which his forum golds are worth about $80k, there's people even more richer than him
but in his case he made most of his wealth just selling "rush services" in hardcore (permadeath)
some people made millions before bitcoin, during bitcoin, they didnt adopt bitcoin, they talked about it when it released, some adopted it but most didnt
and they have the hardware, botting hardware can be mining hardware

both roneye and coooley are streaming with some kind of automation (autohotkey to join the game faster on the alt accounts, which when leveling is increasing the difficulty but also droprates, xp gains and whatnot)

the botting community used to be bigger, there's some very interesting people there too
