@Nebuchadnezzar_II i think you still miss my point my man.... maybe "just maybe"
hope i wrong
but from first time i get into this forum if i not mistaken i propose 2fa to admin.... and you somehow doesn't agree and then said
I'd rather just have username and password to be honest, whats all the noise about security when the threat is like nothing. Steal my account if that really makes you happy.
the point was, maybe indeed we little bit different from opsec point of view.
example me.... i love if everything is under control. "Njalla" things is bad but yes, argument like "if my domain not go against njalla, they won't remove the domain... right?"
which is valid argument, but flaw inside because we just "hope" that something bad doesn't happen, but what if something bad really gonna happen? welp we had no solution yeet other than move away from it,
just keep in mind, i had 3 server on russia, eu, and america, each of them was for different type of scenario and i can go to another just in case some of them down/restricted.
more than that, i had small "hidden" domain using dirt cheap domain that point at my cloudflared homelab, hosted on old laptop. running 2 month straight now.
that security and control that i concern, and i want other people to had it too... its not about "perfectionist" but more like.... "hey, i had my own blog at example.com, check it out" instead of "hey, i had my sites, check it out myweb.blogspot.com"
Free is good, but sometimes, we need to think if its free. maybe we're the product.
but paying little bit will make it more personal and make you learn way more things, i mean hosting is dirt cheap. some company give 5$/ year, where domain .com is just 10$ at average
i hope you get the core point
and yeah, its my main idealism since begining, so if you not agree with it, atleast we agree to disagree :D
