why not make dedicated domain or tor

@Nebuchadnezzar_II I definitely agree with UsualCat. Host your own site on your own domain and host a hidden service or an eepsite. There are many affordable hosts out there that accept Monero and setting up a hidden service is easier than registering a domain.

back then i found some github script blogging that they use dynamic admin panel to make static .html

so on admin side, its just like normal cms
but they literally write it to static html and update it

But why? Its free and working fine why would I change it? Why darknet? Whats the risk?

I am thinking of using a .eth address for immutability but that doesn't integrate with dns so I'd use it as a permissionless linktree only.

So far its all just static shtml files written by deepseek. Was so easy to do. No js.

I run this account using windows, and I've shown my face already; if I did make a darknet blog, I wouldn't advertise it here because that would defeat the purpose of a private account.

That being said, maybe it is a good idea to use a private account for discussing opsec critical tools and information like cold storage tools and techniques.

What's your take?

@UsualCat I see what you're saying. But in this case I think its unrealistic that netlify would want to interfere with my blog, and if they did choose to theres very little to lose.

Besides, once you read it, you yourself own it because its inside your head!

just keep in mind, i had 3 server on russia, eu, and america, each of them was for different type of scenario and i can go to another just in case some of them down/restricted.
more than that, i had small "hidden" domain using dirt cheap domain that point at my cloudflared homelab, hosted on old laptop. running 2 month straight now.

that security and control that i concern, and i want other people to had it too... its not about "perfectionist" but more like.... "hey, i had my own blog at example.com, check it out" instead of "hey, i had my sites, check it out myweb.blogspot.com"
Free is good, but sometimes, we need to think if its free. maybe we're the product.
but paying little bit will make it more personal and make you learn way more things, i mean hosting is dirt cheap. some company give 5$/ year, where domain .com is just 10$ at average

My take is that if something bad happens with it. welp who cares, just put another one online.

On the one hand, your system is safe because it is bulletproof. My system is safe because it is replaceable.

Besides, even if you 'own' a domain its still stored on ICANN centralized database so really ICANN owns it. Not your keys, not your domain. That's why I prefer an ens linktree as a backup plan in case something goes wrong.
