Zano has been hit by an inflation bug involving Gateway Addresses. We have no other choice other than rolling back the chain with approx 24 hours. Economic damages will be reimbursed. More information to follow.

Crazy. It will be interesting to hear more details on the exploit. I wonder if the attacker was able to mint Zano and sell any at all. The price dropped 20% this morning several hours before Zano even announced the exploit on X. Zoidberg on his appearance on Monero Talk a few weeks ago also sounded quite anxious and stressed about exploits like this occurring. So I wonder when the Zano team actually knew something was up.

Related topic... I can't believe how Ztrash has pumped since their inflation bug. What a joke.

@Nebuchadnezzar_II well zano holders can't even send zano to an exchange right now to dump lol
but who knows. This is a coin that isn't really held by many so I don't know what will happen.

TBH, Freedom Dollar is fascinating. Let's see how it plays out... (btw, why doesn't Monero have a Layer 2 to do this kind of thing? XD)

(I can already sense the angry replies I'm about to get, but it's a genuine question. A Layer 2 on Monero would be incredible isn't?)
