Customer service has turned to total dog shit ever since Covid, especially SaaS companies. SaaS companies have become some of the greediest motherfuckers in existence. No more refunds, more spying, tracking, and analytics, and no more talking to real people — you only get to talk to an AI now and no fucks are given. All the contact information is buried deep on the websites to the point that I just scrape the entire website and ask an AI to give me the contact information. It's completely ridiculous.
Where possible, stop doing business with SaaS companies. I've gotten into the habit of self–hosting everything I need. No more proprietary accounting tools, no more Google and Microsoft, no more proprietary task management, and no more "cloud" services. There is a solution out there for virtually everything you need. It may need some additional work to get things working and become accustomed to the new workflows, but it beats having to deal with a bunch of cunts.
Look at your recent accounts, subscriptions, and transactions. Find some SaaS company? Yeet and delete it.
