From a privacy standpoint, which do you think is more effective these days: cash or XMR?

@mrcoin3 cash most certainly. No trail whatsoever, no need to worry about code vulnerabilites, no need to worry about IP leaks, etc. Obviously if you take it out of a bank or ATM, you will be on camera getting the cash, but once you walk out the door, noone will ever know what you did with it.

Paper money is something that will be missed when it ceases to exist, because it has great privacy and practicality.

It's worth giving it a chance

@StealthAddressGuy I honestly don't think it is going away, regardless of all the propaganda claiming such. It would cease drug sales at the street level. And if drugs cannot be sold, then it would collapse the private prison system, it would take away a shit ton of money that banks make for laundering drug money, and likely crash the global economy. The cashless society narrative is most likely just a psyop to get people to sign up for CBDCs in whatever form they come thinking cashless is inevitable.

@nemesis Nice argument. The only flaw I see in your logic is thinking they wouldn't want to crash the economy. I mean really, its got to crash every once in a while.

@Nebuchadnezzar_II That would make them broke as well. Most of their 'wealth' is only on paper. As long as they have their pretend wealth and we have our real poor-ness, they can continue the scam. And by collapse the global economy, I mean total collapse, total chaos, and then the gallows and guillotines would really come out. They gotta keep the masses at least somewhat satisfied, no matter how miserable they are.

And then there is this;

@nemesis
Now you're assuming that there wouldn't be a new system come to mop up.
From an abstract game theoretic perspective, if there was such a competing colonial order then the old establishment would be smart to sell out on their dying system and crash it in exchange for becoming creditors of the new colonial system. Its like how my country seeded Israel which your country has been paying alms to this whole time.

Anyway, sorry for pedaling my bullshit here, I digress.
Xmr vs cash... xmr every time unless the mailman goes down and you actually need to buy drugs in person like a fucking good for nothing junkie.

@Nebuchadnezzar_II But there isn't a competeing order. The Powers Who Ought Not Be have the world exactly where they want it, and whether they know it or not, every single nation on Earth is playing into the game.

Now to end my disgression, you're gonna find more people IRL accepting cash than monero, and as I previously stated, its untraceable. No need to worry about entropy or leaking keys, or a spook run tor exit node, or anything else that one must consider when using anything digital. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it ;)

@Nebuchadnezzar_II Its something I have long thought was the case due to a voice over of some CIA guy on a punk song from late 90s, but only recently came across those articles I linked. And it just makes sense IMHO
