freelancer monero KYC wtf

I am a guy typically offering services in XMRBazaar and of late its mostly KYC services people are seeking. Where are the good ol' people wanting someone to center their div or something haha. Seems this KYC thing is what has been on demand which is fair i guess but its kinda sad that for an omnipotent crypto that its mostly for obscure services and questionable dealings. All in all i guess the market decides.

Also stepped away from the Monero scene and wtf, weren't we at just 300? when did we get to 600!? Crazy times haha.

Anyway how is everyone doing. I am a dev (mobile & web) (started way before AI so am pretty skilled) If anyone wants anything done. Feel free to HMU on here :) Been a dry couple of months.

@GhostXMR
It seems to me that a lot of people are just trying to access their local markets through monero. For example, by using prepaid cards. The circular economy model has big advantages, but monero does not exist in a vacuum. I'd be cool to have the infrastructure to just live off monero anywhere without a bank, and pay for normal things. Personally I believe paper cash and physical metals are the best interface with the real world economy. So the essential infrastructure is a secure and local physical to monero swap. I think that luxury items like watches and even pokemon cards are used as collectables for something like this; you can buy pokemon cards on xmrbazaar and sell them on ebay! Of course you can also trade physical cash on haveno, or use prepaid cards.

Good luck working as a dev,
I'm building a few web projects of my own, can collab if you want.

I do some mediation on xmrbazaar. Every order I get hired to mediate is kyc stuff. Once in a while, swaps or cash for xmr stuff.

It's the age old issue with xmr. People are only gonna use xmr to pay for stuff you can't easily get using fiat out in the open.
Add on, if it can be 'attempted' by an llm, someone might try that before going out and finding a human dev. But then, a normie might go on fiverr, upwork, def not xmrbazaar xD

I don't even bother listing my art or crafts anymore

KYC will always win in a world dominated by obedient slaves.

Comfortable slaves never rebel.™

Edit:
Thank you, this reminded me to update my listings :)

For a service going mainstream means KYC.
People lie to themselves when preaching the majority does not want it.
They request it from their counterpart, so they should give it too.
