I use Linux Mint for everything. Stable and reliable it just all that I need. Don't need anything fancy.

@Untagged8 it gets a lot easier over time. Once you understand the basics of linux you'll warm up to the terminal.
I recommend downloading fish. It makes using the terminal a lot more user friendly.
