It was superior than XMR in a few aspects, until...

IMHO, with respect to ring signatures, Wownero's anonymity set has been destroyed.

Now it's just what it has always been, just an internal, well-esteemed test bed and joke for some XMR misfits, but no real use case or promising horizon for it, in my humble opinion.

It had some experimental features like maybe a bigger ring size but it's mostly a joke. Possibly useful for some traders so you can swap privately to and from but not a serious project.
