As long as thing exists, someone will be there trying to exploit thing for money. I don't really consider it to be any sort of attack on monero as a currency...
I don't use social media so I have no idea what you mean by
Looking in twitter every now and then it seems there are new coordinated attacks.
zcash, xelis, qubic, thorchain and retoswap hacks, wagyu drama ... & botted bullshit trying to awake(n) fear in our community
Anyone care to write or find a recap on all this? Idk what xelis or qubic are
As for a 'attack-o-meter', I find it a funny concept. If I were to make one, I'd probably have these be the criterion for different 'attack' levels:
number of known healthy and secure nodes
time per confirmation
estimated daily volume of transactions (individual transactions and also est value, dunno if that's possible with Monero's framework)
days since last monero delisting
days since last monero related 'hack'
number of countries that have banned monero
number of people arrested in connection to monero transactions
I'll leave it up to imagination which data points would be considered positive vs negative lol
