like ["xmrsim","xmrmatters","xmrvcc"]
like we get it, this is xmr, so redundant tho like jfc

meanwhile for example, xmrsim competitors all have more original names as seen from this thread:
https://monero.forum/thread/tested-no-kyc-esim-providers-actually-take-monero-notes-what-works
["Silent Link","LNVPN (nadanada)","Voidmob","PikaSim"]

or "xmrmatters", names on these been like ["BISQ","Haveno","localmonero"]

or "xmrvcc": ["cakepay","bitrefill","coincards"]

like we get it, this is xmr lol

also, what are yall thoughts on multiple services run by the same individual / same people but just doing the "privacy guy thing" for actual services that is handling actual user data?
wouldnt it be like if for example coinbase was also running the whole protonmail infrastructure as well but just under different names, would pointing the redflags on that be considered "doxxing"?

i mean, actual service is different than literal individual, so whatever, if i getting banned on that for "doxxing", whatever, my defense on that is a service is different than an individual so whatever

pretty much redflag there:
xmrmatters posting on 06/08/2026 about "strict NDA regarding telecom yaddy yaddy"
NDA-lol

few hours later, could just be coincidence and i just being tinfoil for no reason, xmrsims posting on the same day 06/08/2026:
telecom-reseller
also that xmrsim website literally has the glowing orange thing on their website, like they actually literally glowing lol
glowing-af

which similar as what was pointed in the xmrmatters thread, centralized thingies be glowing:
mediaHGr5-soWYAAgsyf
so much glow lol

which btw, xmrsim just got a review from "xmrvcc":
xmrvcc-review
since xmrvcc also resell esims i guess
xmrvcc-esims

totally different looking website tho, doesnt have the monero colors unlike the other 2 websites, still same similar unoriginal name tho

and their only review is from
@MichealTorsale23 that literally hasnt reviewed any other services nor has posted anything else on the forum:
single-reviewer

anyways, posting this in lounge rather than "scam report"
but imo, xmrmatters at least is scam, being all like "oh yeah, use our website cause apps are too hard for people", meanwhile people would literally have to learn on how to use PGP on top of whatever code they're serving on their website, which would be even a harder step for newcomers than just running haveno lol
i mean, if those people care about their data not ending up in the hands of a centralized service that might be run by whoever adversarial entity

and also lounge cause like, speculation on names are kinda dumb lol:
https://libera.monerologs.net/monero/20260627#c687876

Just noticed Mullvad is Swedish for "mole" and we know what a mole is... subliminal message ??
lmao-mullvad

still, the whole "xmr-this" and "xmr-that" for naming is so dumb and unoriginal
and at least 2 of these services be using LLM texts on their forum threads anyways, the 3rd one (xmrsim) hasnt posted enough to confirm (literally only twatter level posts numbers of characters in their posts) but the glowing orange is so uggo anyways

A lot of Monero sites in general often have names that lack creativity and more importantly, do not describe what they actually do at all. xmr gg, xmr club, kyc xmr rip abc xyz 404 lol .win .wtf .ai .fail, it's all just pointless nonsense.

The proliferation of AI has allowed people with no creativity or business marketing skills to churn out websites. The logos, names, purpose of what these do, it's lost on these people. They think making a new website every week is going to somehow give them income when in reality 1 website with momentum will always win. The most successful one of them is just copying Monerica almost exactly in terms of sponsorship on a directory. It's frustrating but they all seem broke and can't play in the real game which requires actually sponsoring Monero events and enhancing the community with actual activities and development.

The worst offenders of the bad namings are definitely the Russian exchanges. Exchange Exchangers? Market Exchange Wallstreet Exchange, Crypto-Store, DarkChange, BestChange, it's the laziest and worst names of all time.

Monero.Forum is a good name though, it's definitely clear and authoritative.
