I don't like it because you have to make people download an app if they want to contact you, and your accounts are not recoverable without a big encrypted database file. I'd much prefer to login with just a username and password, and for people to be able to contact me without downloading an app.
For these reasons I deleted Simplex and build Easychat messenger.
I'll be updating and open sourcing it soon but its so so much easier and more convenient.
