🚨 BREAKING: The Revolut hacker has announced his ransom demand.

The hacker wants Revolut to pay $3 million USD in XMR, an anonymous cryptocurrency. If the ransom is not paid, the hacker says the data will be sold and that "the blood" will be on Revolut's hands.

24 hours left.

In case you missed it, last week it was reported that Revolut was hacked, exposing sensitive KYC information from its userbase. Today, the hacker announced they are seeking a ransom of 6000 XMR ($3 million USD). The amount seems pretty low all things considered, so I am curious to see if it is actually paid. 24 hours remain before the data is released...

These things will continue to happen more frequently as long as companies pay jackshit for responsibly reporting vulnerabilities.

After all, why would I report something that severe for a reward of 500 dollars when I could ransom you for millions...
