Since XMRMatters is strictly a P2P exchange platform, we strongly encourage anyone sharing sensitive trade information, like bank account details or cash-by-mail addresses to manually encrypt it using their own PGP key in the trade chat.

When users encrypt client-side, that data remains completely unreadable on the server.

If your threat model excludes trusting a centralized service with sensitive trade details, using Haveno or strictly enforcing client-side PGP is the right call.

I won't engage in personal attacks. XMRMatters exists as an accessible option for users who weigh those trade-offs differently, and everyone should stick to the tools that match their own risk tolerance.
