i mean, there is also a market there with low barrier of entry for content creators making "PMVs"
(like pmvhaven, last time checked, creators could get tipped in bitcoin, not monero... but they been able to handle moderation on those other content that been mentioned earlier so i guess it could be done, still a headache on moderation but yea, it has been done so it could be done i guess)

still, for now i like the focus on a patreon alternative, there is indeed alot of content creators there that are not even controversial but being treated like they are, so a new home for them would be nice

What do you guys think about publishing the project on Monero CCS?

if it could give visibility to the project and maybe even bring more funding for further development then sure why not, i mean, that's what the CCS is supposed to be for tbh... i have my own beefs on that but it's literally what it's supposed to be for...
still hoping that moneroforum could eventually replace getmonero on all of that tho lol

Earlier I was joking about the porn website business :) I dont have an intention the start porn website right now, xmrstars has a great motivation to work for it, also community want it more than another porn website. Its not all about money, it's about solution for peoples who cares about privacy, for people who restricted financially or politically.

Yeah maybe you are right about CCS. I will prepare for that. I have great advantage right now, living in SEA and not spending much compare to before. If I can get enough donation maybe even stop working other project and work full time on xmrstars.com. Just calculated, for 3 months I might survive with 10 xmr here. But I wanna wait and think about more about that.

getmonero forum not much active compare to here, at least last time when i check that was like that. Gosh, I remember the Discourse version of this website, thank you @admin for great work here <3 this dude deserves a metal

Another logo brainstorm update

I try to integrate the star and monero theme as one. Then it struck my mind that the M letter and the shape of the star is pretty similar. So i came up with this one. You can see it resemble the monero logo, but also has star element to it. If you look closely you an see it almost like a person cheering up (well i tried it that way hehe). Probably gonna round up the best one and will ask the community what is the best suited for the website. Please do give your feedback if you have anything on your mind regarding the logo, It really help.

that last one looked like arrows to me, then read your explanation and was like "oh i see, that makes senses yea"
point is, wasnt as straightforward to understand the concept as the first design i guess
they still look nice tho, but if were to make a poll on which would be the prefered ones, i would pick the first design
maybe something worse doing, a poll, to get better community feedback on these
