@avarice Ahh no, i meant cherry like cherry on top of your sundae. It's not necessary to have cherry for a sundae but it's nice. Also i add star because i'm inspired by Subscribestar, it sound nice. But I like with what @lIlIIllIIIIllllII desribe as star is the place we're heading

@cipherchan I still stand with my choosing cipherchan. I don't think everyone associate cherry with sexual stuff but more toward sweet and joyful fruit

@sepia Cherry is a good word but don't know it's right name, but star is a good one for it. My concern same with @avarice, people for sure gonna felt that way.

Succesfull community project names always starting with xmr like xmrchat, xmrbazaar, that's way I was suggesting xmrtube for xmrstar :)

anybody can suggest more ideas about name of the project, whenever everyone feel good about it, we can buy that domain name and move there. finding a good name gonna take a while for sure, but for now we can use openfans.

@sepia thank you for logo ideas, I was saying bookmarks maybe better idea but people dont know much about that icon. But everyone knows the stars, maybe we can stick with it but if community want another icon, feel free to share ideas here. BTW, total donations almost reach 2 XMR, probably we can pay our servers around 4-5 months.

Everyone who giving feedback and donating the project, thank you again, it's making me really motivate the project more everyday. I will update my progress about the project tomorrow here with screenshots etc.

@Kodomu I forgot to ask about policies. Can we host adult content on your servers? Also we dont wanna host pedophile content but what about fictional loli character. Is there any laws about those in servers location?

the difference would be literal csam vs fictional
(issue there imo is literally actual sexualization of minors)

and pretty sure there is enough existing content creators to fill the platform, like, if they can draw lolis then they can draw regular characters too u know..

like, in my own spaces back then for example, i wasnt allowing loli type thing, with some market research on f95zone it seem like there is a market there yea.. but i really dont think is the majority and would it be worth the slipperly slop?
but then, if not allowing those, then moderation really is a pain cause they still pentesting on what would be acceptable there
like even twitch lol, it used to be just for gaming back when it was justin.tv but now there's the whole irl streams and whatnot, and moderation seems to be a headache with a constant battle between e-girls&artists vs moderation with constant pentesting of what content they can do on the platform

good question regarding policies tho, so that you could still chose to disallow those but in the case of extensive pentesting with moderation not catching those up early enough then that it wouldnt be an issue regarding the hosting either, allowing enough time for moderation to do the thing without having the whole website to go offline cause of it

@nolan We don't care what you host, just don't break the laws in the server location. There's probably someone doing that already, it's a question that's been asked to us a few times over the past few years. We're Japanese owned so it's not really something that concerns us, as it's legal here anyway.
IIRC in Sweden it isn't explicitly illegal or legal but it's not been a problem for us or others in the same DC who also don't care about hosting it. It would only be a problem in Switzerland but that's not a public location anymore and is being shut down eventually.

I checked for someone and all our next location choices seem to legally permit it so eventually you may wish to move in the unlikely case there does end up being trouble.

@nolan xmrstar? i like the sound of that. Felt familiar but also has the hint of its own uniqueness. I also like what @avarice come up with the japanese name btw. Tsunagi have a good philosophy. But I think someone gotta be the judge for the name to be official.

I'm still brainstorming ideas about the logo. Please give your most honest opinion regarding the design so i can do better.

@cipherchan yeah it's fall into harassment when the artist draw a real person or csam when that person is underage. I still remember the infamous shadman incident that draw celebrity daughter in a sexual manner just for a "parody". I will invite artist on board which come from anime sphere of influence so there will be many artist that like to draw fictional loli from anime. I personally ask nolan about who is allowed because i found an artist that struggling with censorship which is perfect to tell them about the platform but they didn't shy from drawing fictional loli character. So i was conflicted about the matter
