The recent AI fever has left every sector in the economy at their limit. The hunger for semi-conductor and power has driven the price increase of ram which make every computer, smartphone and other device more expensive to produce which in turn also make every business suffer because suddenly their maintenance cost for their device will be rising because of the lack of sparepart. It also affect normal people because of how power hungry these data centers are, their electricity bill has rising too.
But it's not the worse part yet. These AI datacenters are burning money without returning any meaningful profit. So the giant tech company reach to government to help. And how does it ended up? Their solution apparently to use the 401K, the retirement saving plan, to be invested to these AI company which we know a burning money pit.
Their plan is to sacrifice the normal average citizen hard work as their escape route.
This kind of thing is one of my reason why i jumped to monero. It's the only way to save my hardwork from being stolen away from the parasite of the society.
