I agree with your point.
To be honest, I initially assumed there was a custom script running on my side, which is why Monerica appeared differently to me.

That said, as long as the platform continues to be maintained, updated, and properly managed, the interface design is not a major concern to me personally.
Even a very minimal or outdated-looking UI would not bother me, provided the reliability and trustworthiness of the source remain intact.

However, you raised several valid points, and I do believe some users may find the current text presentation somewhat difficult to read.

which tbh, that's totally fine for informative websites, it's not like it's handling sensitive user data or whatever

but AI has an understandably bad rep, so while those informative websites are totally fine to being made with llms, it's about just having to look good and make it look like it's not actually made by AI, even if it is

like, many services dont even bother and just making posts full of em dashes and emojis, that's a bad look on them that they cant keep the AI on a tight leash type thing lol

like for example, recently read people saying "AI likes to make round edges to protecc users from sharp edges" lol
this forum has sharp edges and admin mentioned being a dev awhile ago

and even videogames that had 20+ years of bugfixes from AAA companies are still to this day full of bugs, in the case of videogames tho, some of the unintentional bugs are just becoming the meta and actually appreciated by the players (true story, some bugs creating more difficulty in some cases and shouldnt be fixed)

but yea, when informative websites, then just gotta look good u know, so that users dont just close the page without any afterthought
so mitigating the signs of llm use as much as possible for these

@NickZ2 Only 1 person until now has said it should not be a dark color scheme.

@H1XMR It's AI assisted. Until recently it was mostly hand edited, which would easily consume an entire day.

Thankfully the large context available with Claud AI allows instructing and styling the site in an easier way, that takes minutes. The prompt was along the lines of making it look more "cyber" and "modern".

But it again was updated after the comments here. Very fast iteration process. No scripts, pure CSS.
