@monerica just updated the theme of their site and it looks really good but I have some feed back.
Things I like:
What I would change: I'm really not a fan of glowing and gradients. This might just be me but when I see glowing text, gradient backgrounds, and box shadows my mind immediately goes to AI generated website.

I agree with your point.
To be honest, I initially assumed there was a custom script running on my side, which is why Monerica appeared differently to me.
That said, as long as the platform continues to be maintained, updated, and properly managed, the interface design is not a major concern to me personally.
Even a very minimal or outdated-looking UI would not bother me, provided the reliability and trustworthiness of the source remain intact.
However, you raised several valid points, and I do believe some users may find the current text presentation somewhat difficult to read.
