My Response To The Rise Of Darknet Slop Projects

@NickZ2 100% true. Unfortunately, that also means it's more difficult to find long–lasting quality products and services over time as many will simply cease to exist. xmr.email was a free email provider, but they somehow went down out of nowhere. No idea what happened. Ark and Cloak forums appear to be down too. There were also some projects to try and sell prepaid cards for Monero, but those also appear to be down. Lots of dead projects. At the very minimum I believe the community should not condone and enable slop projects. The Monero and darknet communities seem to congratulate themselves on virtually every project that someone developed. They should apply more scrutiny and hold members to a higher standard.

@Yuzuki well true you need to be on the pulse of those goods. Servers are also a story.
But I see that as positive. I could not get a client of a server I judged as bad. As the server went more drastic, about ssl and free the client remembered and we moved her sites.

It also plays into my playbook, I advocate to split mega sites and go small, that way you can move faster once shit hits the fan.

Life thrives over evolution. Nature gives us all the hint, no free weekends in nature, no 9 to 17.00 works schedules for lions nor zebras. Or the NY Stock exchange. jejejeje

@Yuzuki I'm currently trying to get more comfortable running FreeBSD for this very reason. I really don't like where Linux-Land is heading with all the slop coding going on, particularly in regards to linux-kernel. I don't necessarily expect to have every piece of software I use to be 100% human coded, but the core components I really prefer being done by people who know what they are doing, who place quality over quantity, and not outsourcing their thinking.

@Yuzuki do you have a clearnet site for your blog? I wanna share this in normieville so doubt many use tor.

@nemesis Yes, but you'll have to enable JS briefly to get passed the DDoS protection (self–hosted). Just replace the domain with https://kikuri.moe. Path is the same.

@Yuzuki Oh I'm not too concerned about the JS thing. I don't use tor everything anyway. And thanks. That was extremely well stated and I've been harping on this issue quite often lately, although I'm the most eloquent writer. And this sums up my thoughts on the matter pretty damn well.

@nemesis I wish there was more time to write content. I have a million things I need to do and writing doesn't exactly get any money... well at least not until my platform is out. I need to wrap up the UI to release the pre–Alpha version. I'm building XMR subscriptions into the platform, although the system will work a little differently than what people may think. Between IRL, my job, communities, development, and administration, there is only ever little time.

The biggest time sink is the damn editing. I keep rewriting different phrases, changing the structure, forgetting to add headings, and changing wording. It takes so damn long until I'm satisfied and willing to publish it.

Edit: I do appreciate the tipping from you guys. I didn't mean to sound ungrateful for that. I do notice it.

@Yuzuki Time, that most precious of commodities. And most of us are broke AF in that regard. I'm recently unemployed and still feel like I don't have enough time in the day quite often.
