MVP Launch of Monero.Jobs
Today I have launched the MVP of monero.jobs, a fully functional job board / freelancer market place that operates on XMR-only, with invoice generation facilitated through xmrpay.link.
The initial announcement got great traction, including a repost on X from @monero - I hope to gain this traction again!
For the time being the project is non-profit / completely free.
Let's create a new circular economy!

wtf is wrong with Reddit... impossible to post in /r/Monero? i don't think i broke any rules. i have tried it with / without link, with / without image, ... no idea, but i am giving up.

I added my profile and found a bug: If I change my profile without saving first and then switch focus to another tab, my changes are gone. This is quite frustrating.

Hope this continues to improve and gets more traction and use. Got a lot of friends who work in IT and they'd definitely like to take up freelance gigs to be paid in non local currency so this could be perfect !
Thanks for making the site. I signed up, although who knows if anyone is actually going to hire little ol' me. A feature I would love to see is freelancers listing out specific services at either fixed prices or hourly rates to get a better sense of what they can actually provide. It is possible for freelancers to just make a separate website and attach it, but I would prefer browsing through the platform itself. For example, I was looking for a graphic designer for the longest time prior to making our own logo. It was incredibly difficult to find one and ended up making it myself instead. Being able to browse through services and comparing prices and work would significantly help in that respect. XmrBazaar is great for smaller fixed price projects, but a lot of dev or graphic design work is better priced hourly (at least I feel that way). I think this is where monero.jobs could be useful.
