MoneroUSD Monero

So ive been spending a few months developing a Tether-like stablecoin for Monero called MoneroUSD (USDm)

It is a fork of Monero with upgraded FCMP++ privacy. The video below is of the GUI wallet. ive gotten the blockchain to fully function and to register transactions. I am now in the testing phase of the automated swap that mints USDm to your wallet upon crypto deposit and burns USDm upon withdrawl.

Some community members have asked me to implement Defi-like features like staking, lending platforms etc. id love to hear your input.

@Cas
ngl stablecoins never made sense to me
and never understood why people keep asking for a stablecoin monero or a wrapped monero or somethin

i mean i guess heard a youtuber being like some DNMs using tether for some reason?
but isnt the reason they're not using using monero just because of the marketcap compared to tether/bitcoin?
like idk, how does it "peg to the dollar" in this case?
then what happens the day the americas be liek

and it's all like the venezuelan bolivar thing by loosing all of that value:

then what? so very stable...
like, isnt monero stable enough already?
i dont get it lol

FCMP++ cool tech tho
the more gimmicky "defi" thing and pegging to a currency that is based on a failed model, then that i dont get lol

@lIlIIllIIIIllllII Haha you are hilarious! I love the memes by the way. I really just made this project to spite Tether. its the peoples version of tether with more utility : ). Plus itll pump monero as you need monero to purchase.

@Cas
i mean the 2nd one wasnt a meme lol
like was actually legit, that's how much their currency lost value
it was taking that amount of physical cash to buy a roll of toilet paper, more of the currency itself than the literal toilet paper
that's the system those "stable" coins are pegged to, seems kinda flawed just based on that lol
memecoins are chill, wownero and whatnot, and can implement things earlier than on monero on these
so pog on the fcmp++

and idk, bitcoin was made in response to the 2008 financial crisis thing, to not having to rely on the banking system
yet, nowadays the cryptomarket inherited all of the flaws from that legacy financial system
(centralized exchanges reliance for the whole market/bitcoin as a whole type thing)
and i get it, if u need monero to buy on your thing then i guess atomic swaps are chill for that
but having the tech literally pegged to a known and documented flawed system... just seems odd

@lIlIIllIIIIllllII I like stable coins for borrowing, and for short term risk management.
For example, I'd be comfortable owing a fixed amount of dollars, but I wouldn't feel comfortable owing a fixed amount of bitcoin or xmr. (I guess it doesn't matter how that value is transferred though...) Also, cash is obviously one of the riskiest things in the long term, but at the same time hard money can be so much riskier in the short term.

@Cas To be honest I wouldn't use a Monero stable coin because it doesn't solve any problems for me that I don't already solve with xmr or existing stablecoins. Its an interesting project though, I'm surprised its possible! Who do you see this solving problems for?

@Cas
and from a delulu skyzo to an other, cause

I really just made this project to spite Tether.

like rn am being all like "imma make that videogame thing that's gonne be even better than every single blizzard games & ritogames games (wow, starcraft, diablo, lol, whatever [...])
like, how fucking delulu and skyzo in the head do i have to be? LOL

so cheers on being skyzo and delulu too i guess

and my apologies being all like "stable is not real, this shit fake af"
and pretty much hating on everything "defi" or whatever lol
but also my last experience with someone into "defi" that also made monero forks...
when i mentioned the videogames thingies
that retard was literally all like "ok yea sounds good, let's make nfts tied to the videogame items" like wtf??
how much of a psyop was that?? LOL
while also working on defi shits for monero that would actually increase the attack surfaces...

just sayin, you add web3 shits to the monero ecosystem...
next thing you know there is something wrong with it and impacts monero in some ways
https://www.web3isgoinggreat.com
and that attack vector is already being explored by adversaries
