pog, awesome O_O
been wondering for years when we'll have a cmc / coingecko type thing with monero as a baseline instead of btc
which just makes senses to have monero there instead of btc cause is what's used for goods and services anyways, not btc lol (i mean, relative to their marketcaps i guess)
so cheers on that, that's awesome :3
Great work!

I love this! Hopefully it's on your roadmap to become an app, perhaps on Android to start, as I'm unfamiliar with the process for iPhone. With widgets!

It was just a weekend project but will listen to feedback.

Brilliant. About time something like this has been made by the community..
I'd love to see Technicals added like EMAs and SMAs etc etc.
And please offer an onion service !
@monerica Nicely done ! Especially for just a weekend work! It would be nice if 24-hour, weekly, monthly, annual, and all-time charts were displayed..
@Orhan7 It's easy to build a whole site in a day or two with Claude. But, to add all the charting and historical data would take a lot of time and more importantly, money. The CoinGecko API gets really expensive when going beyond what is currently being done just updating all the data every few minutes.
MoneroMarketCap was made on a whim basically because of the annoying ad display on CoinMaketCap (also mentioned here).
Main features are just comparing market caps and the portfolio management with everything priced in Monero.
Do people really want to see charts and use this site that much? It was assumed that traders relied on TradingView for charting, not CMC.
Monerica is not a price speculation/ trading project. That is why MoneroPriceNow.com and MoneroMarketCap.com were created, for price comparision and portfolio management without email. Charting was not really thought about due to high cost (and inability to pay in Monero of course).

@monerica I understand,I don't know what others do but I think that seeing how the cryptocurrencies (especially those that we are interested in and following) are moving, their ATH and ATL etc.. can be very interesting.
But yes,if this kind of charts are expensive I understand you are not willing to put so much money it this.
Thank you for your reply..
Nice! I really like how it shows the other crypto prices in XMR
@Orhan7 Good news, there was a way to add some charting. Now when you click on one of the coins, you should see a chart. Example.
