Our domain was due to expire on the 29th but I’ve renewed it for another year. Unfortunately the domain registrar only allows one year renewals because it’s considered a premium domain or something.
But we're good until next year :)

I like when I can oay for 5-10 years in one go or even more, then I can forget about all the domains I have for websites that can never cover their own hosting costs (sobs)

Can you not change registrars or transfer the domain? I wonder do they make you renew every year in case you make a valuable website and forget to renew it so they can extort you? It's not like they can just take it, right?
