After recent news of a few prominent Bitcoin channels being taken down by YouTube, it became obvious that this can happen to anyone. While those may have been reinstated after lots of commotion on X, why not have a backup?

@monerica Good idea.
It'd be cool if there was a platform that let you connect to different channels' self hosted videos.
For example, you can hold your videos on your own server. And every other channel does the same.
Then users go to 'yootube.com' or whatever, which fetchs videos from individual channels' servers. If 'yootube.com' is open source then it has extremely limited censorship power because anyone can just spin up a clone which is light because it doesn't hold any videos.
