Kraken US will begin applying monthly transaction limits to Monero on August 15. Individual withdrawal limits are set to $1,500 and deposit limits are $3500. I confirmed this with @krakensupport

jesse powell should have never made kraken in the first place
https://d2legit.com was his business before kraken, now it just redirects to kraken
he lost the plot and went to build a centralized exchange instead of keep building on the existing P2P circular economy
coinbase, binance, kraken are now all honeypot scams

literally been repeating myself so much on that so, my apologizes on the redundancy there

Reminds me of how private credit / private equity is limiting redemptions from funds -
And then add on that Kraken is wanting to IPO, though that is being delayed till who knows when

(https://www.cnbc.com/2026/04/14/crypto-exchange-kraken-confirms-it-has-confidentially-filed-for-an-ipo.html )

Kraken co-CEO Arjun Sethi said Tuesday (2025) that the crypto exchange has confidentially filed for a U.S. initial public offering, confirming CNBC’s previous reporting on the matter.
The crypto exchange’s valuation has fallen to about $13.3 billion from $20 billion reported in November, per reports.
Less than a month ago, Kraken froze its IPO plans amid a crypto winter that pushed the price of bitcoin down to 40% below its October record. (dec 2025?)

Could be a signal of xmr delisting as it gets ready for IPO-ing

But also, I swear I saw a video about Kraken today or yesterday but now I lost it. I'm going insane. I'll add it if I find it.

How many CEX that offer XMR are even left? I wonder how xmr compares in terms of 'coins that have movement but are delisted'

Ugh I've been procrastinating on balancing my portfolio and so many headlines are sounding alarms ;w;
