@ditty
yeah man everybody knows reddit is trash.
In fact, I think I've scraped more value off my shoe after stepping in a stinking disease ridden turd than is to be found on reddit.
Its nothing but woke loser gatekeepers and smug idiot parrots all talking the same shit every day.

This forum is a rare gem because even if you say everything that upsets everyone, you still get a fair voice the same as everyone else.

@ditty It's lively and you can get to discussed alot of stuff about monero without being afraid getting your post deleted by moderator. I saw some reply on monero subreddit got deleted by the mods and idk why the reason for it. But I know one reply that mention Xmrstars got deleted by mods. Probably the mods trying to prevent malicious link to spread around on the subreddit but still, the censorship is too much there.

I check in on the reddit monero sub (use redlib.catsarch.com) every now and then. There can rarely be some good info, like that's where I first heard about Kraken rolling out XMR limits. Its pretty dead, probably because the sort of person who picks their crypto based on ideology also picks their fora based on ideology. Reddit's main powermod was Ghislaine Maxwell, they censor and ban flippantly, and most of the users are actually AI bots.

Reddit is a thriving habitat for attention-seekers who mistake having opinions for having insight. People convinced they're smart, unique, or intelligent, and frequently none of the three.

And the mods are glorified hall monitors who never emotionally left middle school; now fully grown, armed with a ban hammer and nothing else to show for it. Moderating is their personality, their community (they'll tell you it's "theirs"), and the only authority they've ever held outside of "Would you like fries with that?"

But the crown jewel is the privacy subreddits. If you're asking Reddit how to stay anonymous, that's like hiring a thief to house-sit. You logged into one of the most data-hungry platforms on the internet, typed your question, and requested anonymity tips from a crowd with nine-year public posting histories.

Reddit sells the analytics before you hit refresh.
