How do you actually verify that a no-KYC exchange deletes your data?

Serious question. A lot of services claim they don’t store anything. No logs, no analytics, data wiped after completion.

But how do you actually verify that as a user? You can’t audit their servers. You can’t see their database. You’re essentially taking their word for it.

Some things that help build trust over time: open source code, third party audits, consistent behavior over years, community reputation.
But none of that is a guarantee.

Curious how the Monero community approaches this. Do you have a framework for deciding which no-KYC services to actually trust? Or is it mostly gut feeling and reputation?

Just minimize the data you give them in the first place? That's the whole reason you go with non-kyc in the first palce.

What data do they even have to delete if you're using anonymizing networks?

I'd imagine most people are much more worried about getting scammed.
