First, I no longer use a phone at all, but I think having an app might be better if we want to attract Reddit users to this forum. I remember packaging a website into an app on Android isn't very difficult — we just need to load site to WebView and add a custom error page.

The issue will be publishing the app. We could probably do something simple on grapheneOS but for the rest of android users getting on the play store would be difficult
