I know this is against a lot of principals here, but whatever; there are two sides to every coin.

My dad keeps asking me to get Chinese stocks so today I did some research and found ex.io. Its a platform which sells tokenized assets (RWA) including tokenized in Hong Kong and compliant with Chinese tokenization policy. As you might imagine, the financial products and the regulatory frameworks are emerging and you can't buy anything yet. There are certainly no secondary markets. Their website looks like Ondo finance did last year, if any of you remember? I'd bet this will be a live market someday. Interestingly the website contained a lot of US financial products and only one product with direct Chinese equity exposure, which was an actively managed equity fund... not ideal. Alas, I found some pages written in Chinese about plans to include a broad market equity fund. Annoyingly they listed some individual us stocks but no individual chinese stocks. I couldn't find any contract addresses on rwa.xyz, confirming that these are early days for this project.

I was so happy when I found out about this, because its a nice opportunity to pseudonymously diversify. I'll be watching and waiting for this space to mature. When it does I'd happily swap my blackrock emerging markets index fund tokens for a chinese broad marker equity fund. If blackrock must have some of my money then why shouldn't the ccp? If one gets fucked at least I still profit. I suppose I don't really know shit about who mans these bridges and how could I really? What do y'all think? I'm sure you can see why I prefaced with the disclaimer as those of you ideologically inclined are surely shaking your heads rn. tut tut tut greedy bad fool.

Anyway this is good for xmr (holders) because you will be able to use it (indirectly) to buy Chinese stocks from secondary markets without having to pass digital id or give up your identity.
