Page 2 of 2 - 15 total@BraveSmoke help secure the network by adding some hashrate. Every bit counts. And don't fall into the HODL trap that helped ruin BTC. Spend your XMR whenever possible. Put some aside if you want as well, but spend it. That's the point of private money imo.

@nemesis I bow to you!
I've been in XMR since 2017 and have been HODLing. Only in the recent 6 years have i realy began to get out of the HODL trap.
You're right...XMR must be used and not just held. I feel if you can't add to the nodes...that you can't run your own node...at least you can keep the circular economy going.
Money is ment to be spent and not hoarded. True wealth is not in any currency or money....but it's in our two hands and the dream in our hearts.
People are the wealth...but we choose to partake in this Xtraordinary Miracle Resource...for as long as there's a corrupt (monetary) system....the people will seek a remedy.
@BraveSmoke sucking dick for Monero is more honorable than begging for it on a forum 🫡

@BraveSmoke Its said the real measure of a society's (financial) wealth isn't how much a person or peoplehas, but the goods and services that are available. A million dollars while stranded on a desert island doesn't mean a thing. But when one can spend that mil on things one needs, and not worry about it being there next week, that's what counts. And as far as XMR goes, the more people spend it, the more people will offer goods and services for that XMR. And in doing so, everyone benefits (at least those in XMR world). I bought toothbrashes on XMRBazaar the other week. Not because I can't get them 5 minutes from home. But just because its something I need, and someone offered for XMR.While monetary velocity gets a bad rep due to its over-importance in fiat world, it is still something that matters quite a bit
