TREE³ is a research-led quantitative fund built to harvest structure that conventional statistical arbitrage can’t reach. It runs a disciplined cascade of strategies across listed assets and selected OTC instruments, grounded in frontier physics, photonic compute, and signature-preserving money management. Our venue footprint spans New York, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore, and Sydney, and the strategy is designed to compound over a 100-year horizon.
Our pledge: performance that builds something permanent
We earn performance fees only on alpha above a 9% annual hurdle. From those fees, 20% of our net earnings will go to the Tree3.one project: three living space rings in stable orbits near Jupiter, each designed to house 25 million people. This is a permanent pledge, and it runs for the next 50 years.
If the fund generates alpha, a defined share of what we earn goes toward building a biosphere in the sky. If it doesn’t, we don’t collect, and nothing is pledged.
Standing on the shoulders of Jim Simons
We are inspired by Jim Simons, the mathematician and fund manager who showed that rigorous mathematics, patient research, and a culture of intellectual honesty can transform how markets are understood. He also showed that the proceeds of that work can fund science at a scale few thought possible. We want to carry that idea further, from funding science to funding civilization’s next frontier.
Why it matters
Long-horizon capital should serve long-horizon goals. A fund that compounds for a century should be tied to something that lasts at least as long.
