XMRig precompiled binary is supposed to have a 2% mining fee, but P2Pool uses the wallet address it's configured for and ignores whatever address is supplied by the mining software. So whatever fee is collected by XMRig is going to be allocated to the P2Pool wallet address, no?

I think you can still specify any donation address you want (or none) in the configuration files.
You mean P2Pool merge mining donation? How can that possibly be allocated to XMRig author? Or if you mean XMRig, then won't P2Pool still just ignore it?
