@StereoSwap That very reason (regulated crypto) will be the force that drive Monero to popularity. There's already plenty of cases where Tether freeze funds. Few days ago they freeze wallet again because that wallet apparently linked to hacker group or something, they bought alot of monero with that and make the price jump for a short period of time.

the new hype nowadays is not the cryptospace (cbdc / gov stable coin bs is a tough competion)

one thing i would hate to see tho, is monero changing the mining protocol to like PoS = piece of shit, that would be a big disapointment right here...

so my opinion on that right now is, FCMP++ is the #1 important priority
lots of other thingies are literally secondary and not a priority and funding could be spent in better ways, to find ways to keep mining alive for the years to come

so... TBD, what would be those solutions is still unclear
but maybe autistic videogamers theorycrafters that can do some next level maths (for real) would be able to do a better job than the CCS scammers on that
since CCS scammers still feel the need to make CCS to this day, despite being early adopters, it's just proof that they're bad at math
and bad at math they are if they cant realize that mining is fucked real bad right now

• CCS people are parasites to the actual economy, while some of the work is great, they're not "buying monero", they dont make "numbers go up" they only make "numbers go down", leeching off literal taxpayers (miners / contributors not on the payroll)
• videogamers are working for free (while still making money), many are doing some crazy theorycrafting next level math out of passion for free, just for the community
• videogamers are bringing even more people in the ecosystem "you heard about that videogame thing? you should play it for fun"
• the future of monero might be videogaming :3
