Do you currently live off Monero, or have you ever done so, whether fully or in part? If so, what was that experience like for you?

It currently isn't realistic for me.
One day I will. I hope one day I can focus on content and not even have a government job so I wouldnt have to do any extra steps to get xmr. Recent sponsorships have been enormously helpful for getting xmr.
But I am buying stuff in XMR every week and take advantage of gift cards. Probably making trip to walmart again this weekend lol.

Things like bills and rent still need to be paid in fiat but I use a lot of giftcards bought with Monero for stuff like food deliveries and gifts. Everything else like grocery shopping and restaurants I use crypto cards that sadly have to be funded with USDT.

"Things like bills and rent still need to be paid in fiat"

electric bills here can be paid in cash at post office, to which there's the offramp with haveno
monero to cash by mail

then for rent yea is really depending on situation if renting or ownership, in case renting is depending on landlord if can do cash or even crypto directly, ownership then other type of bills so yea, really depending on situation there

by "living off monero" i still consider physical cash as well in that too, the offramp exist
well, probably not right now if the bug thing hasnt been fixed yet, but when it's working then is working for that
then pretty much same for groceries, restaurants and whatnot, havent checked if xmr.cards specifically has the ones i been using but been doing instant swap exchange from monero to whatever is accepted on that

so like, monero is the bank account then doing payments in whatever other means, different cryptos or cash when necessary

(was typing the message, but had to rewrite it from scratch cause it bugged with message that got cleared, similar as a previous bug that was meant to be fixed, it still does it from time to time T_T)

@monerica Not really, I need to change it first to my own currency because it's illegal by law to have other currency beside the official one to transact goods (yes you also cannot use gold to buy goods, you need to exchange it). But maybe in the future when more and more people become comfortable to use crypto in general i hope i can. Right now i'm just trying to earn it like a normal job

@admin Some rental apartments allow using prepaid cards but they have huge fees, still works. What crypto card and is it reloadable?
