@fantuan Use qBittorrent and its search engine feature; take the time to set up Jackett for it and you will almost always find what you're looking for. Nyaa alone is too limiting.
To find decent releases, https://www.releases.moe is a good starting point.
To check whether you've watched everything in a given show, check out https://anidb.net
Don't watch ongoing anime or you'll be stuck waiting for the new seasons.
Don't listen to any dubs, subtitles are always superior (fight me).
Try to get the best quality possible. You will regret watching a good show with bad video or audio. As such, avoid streaming and look for bluray rips.
Look for FLAC for audio and roughly 1-1.3GB per episode; This is a rough rule of thumb to get a good video encode. If you see a rip with similar file sizes on each episode (eg.: All exactly 1GB) then the encoder likely compromised quality for file size, avoid these.
Here are my recommendations:
- Non Non Biyori
- Owari No Seraph
- Mashiro No Oto
- Prison School
- Your Lie In April
- Cowboy Bebop
- Gurren Lagann
- Bocchi The Rock!
- Violet Evergarden
Most of these benefit a lot from a good audio setup.
Enjoy!
