DarkFi and their tokenomics

Darkfi is one of the more intriguing "privacy" coins in development. They are frequently attending Monero events, they embrace the dark net as an economy of adoption, and they are lead by the famous cypherpunk Amir Taaki. But after several years, they have no working product outside of a broken irc chat. What's worse, they still have not clarified their tokenomics, which almost assuredly carries a premine.
I'd argue that darkfi is one of the bigger affinity scams today and a very large larp. Maybe I'm being too harsh but they need to start actually proving themselves other than releasing half-baked philosophy writings.
