What are some honest opinions about $BTC? My first Introduction into crypto was $BTC, and I wouldn't have discovered $XMR without it. That said, do people still use it not as a store of value, but as a practical payment method — for example, by swapping XMR for BTC to pay bills? Personally, I prefer to hold and spend $XMR wherever possible, and only fall back on $BTC when necessary. What are your thoughts?

and like many more too
but i find nano-gpt's case to be interesting, as it was originally made for the cryptocoin NANO
which, payments like these are the exact usecase for nano
and somehow monero is the one that is being used for that
so monero can cover that usecase too which is awesome
and i guess nano community might have been close to monero community too
the cryptoexchange "nanex" that was a nano cryptoexchange had the pair directly monero <-> nano

and shopinbit was also a bitcoin store originally, not monero store
so that headline was pretty nice to read when it released:

bitcoin there is some use here and there but only because of the coinmarketcap ranking pretty much...
and lightning network doesnt seem to have any use, people on that apparently still rather pay very expensive fees with bitcoin which is just dumb...

then bitcoin got completely wrecked on the DNM adoption, which i guess will keep being overtaken by monero there too
