@nolan
your broken english kinda sus ngl lol, i mean, is good awarness for like opsec type thing
not native speakers talking the american for opsec reasons
americans talking the not native english speaking for opsec reasons
but if you're doing the techy things, pretty much everything is english on that, like, you code in english
programming languages are literally english is what i trying to say lol, so like, broken english would be more a redflag on the end product or somethin somethin
and while you mentioned xmrstars wouldnt be made by llm and would also be opensource, your main website do have all of the llm things lol, the emojis, the em dashes, all of it lol
so yea, just a few tips here and there if actually legit about the whole patreon alternative thing, some great work been done so far, would be a shame if the end product doesnt meet expections there
btw @nolan, you can also get a green name thing since you were on the discourse version of the forum:
https://monero.forum/thread/og-rank-for-members-of-the-old-forum
if it can make you and the project look more legit somehow lol
since the broken english thing and llm redflags on main website tots might not work in your favor there lol
I will try to register with xmrstars.com email address tomorrow on CCS, if it wont work i will stop work on that.
regarding that first part, that's smart yea, feel free to post on the forum when you do as well, so it can be notified to the #monero-community channel for manual approval, else they probably just wont even bother, they're lazy ass working the 9-5 bureaucracy-tm over there and might need a little push for actually clicking the approval button thing lol
as for the latter part, giving up usually not the answer tho, but keep trying u know

also i really like your take about competition that it would indeed just bring more people to the patreon alternative market overall, so that is a good thing too
while it would be nice to have a successful project on the first try there, the endgoal is still to grow the ecosystem
and the work that both you and @sepia done so far, the market research and so on, especially post #77 over there: https://monero.forum/thread/patreon-competitor?page=8#reply-1693
(@admin still not clickable post number but figured the workaround as well there 😹)
like, that is still great work that yall did on the research there, that even in the case xmrstars might not be the one for some reason, that research wont be lost regardless and could be picked up by a similar project eventually
so yea, @nolan even in the case the project would encounter issues or anything, thank you for the research still, to both you and @sepia
