I’ve been using cakewallet on my phone but is that the best option? It uses Tor by default right?

I’ve heard Anonero is a good wallet since it can be used as a cold/hot wallet if you have 2 devices

Cakewallet is a decent choice, for maximum privacy I would recommend Feather Wallet

Feather wallet for desktop usage and Anonero for mobile.
Match both with a privacy respecting operating system (either linux or a degoogled android), store your XMR safely!

AtomicWallet is an excellent wallet that supports Monero and is available on multiple platforms, including Windows and Android.
