I’m looking for a good decentralized exchange to buy Monero on with Bitcoin but I can’t find any that are good.
I tried both BasicSwap and RetoSwap but they suck!
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but BasicSwap has zero offers available for anything and RetoSwap wants a deposit of Monero to buy Monero??
I don’t want to use some shitty difi wrapped Monero thing.
What should I use?
Sorry to hear you think they suck! Bisq and retoswap are hands down the best that I know of. Been using Bisq for 5 years. Bisq has better liquidity (esp for Fiat exchange). retoswap being a 2 year old baby is catching up fast. Bisq seems to be plagued with bugs lately due to its bloat. I use retoswap a lot, never had an issue.
I recently tried BasicSwap; few offers were available, most had high markups from spot price which makes it doubly unattractive. Being able to do atomic swaps is pretty cool though, I don’t know why its so unused. Perhaps it is hard to install so hardly anyone bothers.
I would like to hear of other DEX, which are better in terms of liquidity.
Anyone tried Eigen (aka unstoppable swap)?
Check out Eigenwallet (i think it’s called that). They supposedly have decentralized xmr<>btc atomic swaps. Never used it since i dont touch btc tho
