Weird Monero addresses on the giveaway

I was expecting bots but I’ve noticed a weird address format from many accounts

(and many more on the thread)

At first glance this looks very odd. It would be impossible for someone to generate addresses this similar but after asking ChatGPT this is addresses with payment IDs - I completely forgot Monero had this as I haven’t seen anyone use them in nearly a decade.

Maybe there’s some weird popular Monero wallet that uses the same address but just gives different payment ids but just a thought

Yeah, certainly is odd. I didn’t think people would be this desperate for 1 xmr lol

yes thats faucet pay wallet for crypto

Desperate? If you dont know about the address why not ask instead of being rude!

Not sure I understand how I’m being rude? The giveaway clearly has bot submissions, and I have nothing against people wanting xmr, just making a joke.

Yeah I don’t know about the address, but that’s besides the point. Evidently at least one person is botting it. What more is there to say?

:folded_hands: Humble submission here Dear admin . This is only my honest opinion so do correct me if I may be wrong but the  “Weird address” being shared by many accounts may be as one of the members rightly mentioned as the XMR - Monero wattet address of those who are giving their “FaucetPay” Wallet addresses. I have observed that Faucetpay address may start with the same starting wallet address characters and only a part of the ending which may be the specific Id of that member is seen to be different as is also seen in the addresses above. This is only reading having worked on Crypto for so many years, but you are free to review the same in its entirity. We all learn from such experiences so let me hope this helps. :+1:
