The controversial "blocksize limit" proposal from sgp

is actually fucking awesome because of the “piconero fee” thing:
https://github.com/monero-project/research-lab/issues/152

for the market i been trying to onboard, this is actually next level really good to actually onboard that market over there
while alot of trades are $1, $30, $100 or whatever
some of those trades are also around $0.04 - $0.05 or fuck, even 1 cent i guess lol

with an increase in price in monero, then the value of current fee for a single output makes the math not realling mathing for that specific market
because the fee would be slightly higher than the lowest values they’re trying to transact (despite alot of them in that same market still being way above the network fee anyways)
this proposal is next level really good by putting the fee at the piconero level, so that way it wouldnt even be a worry at all for that market

so anyways, ill fully commit and put all the resources that i can into actually trying to onboard the P2P circular economy market from 2001 if that piconero level fee can be implemented

thumbup for the jew that ended up working at those blockchain analysis companies :+1:
because despite the controversy around “the blocksize limit is against the p2p digital cash thing”, that fee thing has been way overshadowed by the controversy and is actually an amazing proposal regarding that imo

any ETA on when that piconero level fee can be implemented? sounds awesome for P2P circular economy adoption :smiling_cat_with_heart_eyes:

aight so i guess after today’s discussion in MRLounge, i might have misinterpreted the impact of that “piconero level fee” type thing
as it would still be a market fee based type thing, so depending on usage, the fee would still vary alot
and no way to determine if would be less or more than $0.01, while at some times it would still be very cheap to transact monero, some other times when blocks are more full then it would be a bit more expensive

but i guess today this thread had like 12 clicks from the channel over there, so like
https://monero.forum/t/looking-for-some-help-with-promotion/309/19
 lol
tho the rest of the forum still didnt get much new clicks, so i guess it didnt really work to shill that moneroforum thing lol

still no ETA
nerds are like politicians at this point, giving answers that are not answering nothing, making shits complicated for the sake of making it complicated

but i guess after a bit more than 2 months now…
then good to know that my assessment of “monero techonology is just not ready yet” was actually accurate and monero community just been trying to gaslight like actual politicians

:fu::angry_face_with_horns: :fu:

*5 months (ccs)

:troll:

Logs over there:

Which according to articmine, the fee in that proposal is also an actual worry:

articmine: Blockchain Surveillance companies engaging in dusting attacks

articmine: The idea is to trick users into co-spend heuristics unless one uses careful coin control to avoid including the poisoned inputs

articmine: If one is not careful one can end up overpaying fees because of including these economically un spendable outputs
