Monero Businesses

In this Topic post the businesses that accept Monero for payments.

To start: I’m a self-taught blacksmith/welder/woodworker and i accept Monero for my work. Right now i make hooks, hangers and blades. I plan on branching out into more intricate blacksmithing items such as hand-tools (chisels, punches, gardening tools, etc), longer blades and eventually swords, square-nails, and other useful items. Once i have the space to set up a real welding area, i plan on making bench-vices along with other useful items.

If you’re interested in what i’ve listed, you can find me on my business twitter through my handle @/TheMakerShops

You should try selling on https://xmrbazaar.com/ if you haven’t made a listing already

I have an account on there and was one of the first vendors and Mediators. But after its owner threatened to assault me for my beliefs, it seems i can no longer post listings on there despite my account still being active

That’s really shitty of them…

Yeah it is! And after shilling their site since before it went live too! I’ll just stick to more decentralized methods of growing my business instead of relying on the bald ego-maniac’s website

Thought I’d add kyun.host. Disclaimer, I am affiliated with them.

I have made a new blade earlier yesterday. Check it out on my Business Twitter or on my Telegram Channel

Woah! Where can I learn more about this? That’s not right that that happened to you.

I dont know, i only found out after we got internet reinstalled and tried to list one of the blades i made, but got an error along the lines of “website no longer exists or moved to a new address” once i clicked on the Post listing button

I meant this, I wanted to know about this. I think it is wrong of them to do that.

It happened months ago. Doug Tuman got a stick up his ass because Nationalist monero users were talking about the jews and how monero is something they couldn’t control. Monero Mavrick, after several spats with Doug and his ilk, opened up a Twitter space to talk about it and try to squash the beef. Doug hopped on 30 mins into the space with the intent of ambushing Mav and others.

The fallout resulted in Doug saying on his MoneroTalk podcast that he’d punch people in the face like Mav for having opinions on race. So i posted “if doug wants to punch people like me in the face, i hope he knows that some of us carry”, to which he responded that he’d assault me in some made up scenario about his kids (nobody ever mentioned his kids).

Him and Xmrbazaar both blocked me on twitter as a result of this

Wow I didn’t know the Maverick beef spilled over to other people. That’s not right and shouldn’t have happened to you. Looks like xmrbazaar failed their free speech audit.

Yeah they did. Alot of these libertarian monero personalities have shown themselves to be ego-maniacs recently.

I’ll look into running my own website where i sell my blacksmithing stuff in the future

Tried doing some more blacksmithing today but somehow my forge blower is broken. The gears inside it wont mesh together any more, making it so no air is getting blown into the forge.

Since i dont have the money to replace it with a new one, im done blacksmithing for the forseeable future
