I run a gas station.
How would I preauthorize a transaction so the customer can pump any amount of gas and have the transaction settle for the correct amount?
One idea was that the customer will have to pay an XMR deposit and receive a refund for the amount not pumped.
What would you do?
You’d probably have to charge a deposit, say 100,00 € and then refund any excess.
So you need a XMR return address for the customer, and you allow up to the deposit’s amount of fuel.
Depending if you deal with a frequent pumper or a one timer.
It would be great if the service could become more widely spread.
