i been waiting for this one.
same <3
been wondering what type of setup for it tho
if like:
or:
idk, still debating
but then it also made me think, i guess could also have pfsense installed on a desktop or laptop, getting it’s WAN from a GrapheneOS device, then pfsense would be like a buffer type thing, could have wireguard at the router level there and then have the actual desktop app running on a linux desktop or laptop
GrapeheneOS (with VPN) → pfsense (with VPN) → linux desktop/laptop with the properly audited haveno desktop app
since the mobile app is still a bit new
like, plenty of different setups possible for different threat models or simplicity
GrapheneOS + no sim + public wifi vpn or public wifi tor (it might be possible haveno app already using tor network) setup is better imo ![]()
right, and i do remember graphene’s FAQ being like wifi is pretty much secure on it
so definitely solid setup right there too ![]()
but who knows, depending on location, wifi might not always be available i guess
well, iirc the ishowspeed twitch stream in china he was literally able to stream with not dropping frame or nothing, literally from the underground subway thing lol
like, great internet everywhere in china, but i guess some other places in some areas might just have a tower thing nearby rather than public wifis, in which case, eSim could be the way there
